Clos de la Fontaine Dinard expo Dubuffet
Jean Dubuffet Exhibition from May 31 to September 20, 2026
From May 31 to September 20, the City of Dinard presents at the Palais des Arts et du Festival an exhibition dedicated to Jean Dubuffet (1901-1985), a major artist of the second half of the 20th century.
The exhibition Jean Dubuffet. The Swell of the Virtual offers an in-depth immersion into one of his most emblematic and prolific cycles: L'Hourloupe. Through a collection of one hundred and fifty works (paintings, drawings, sculptures, models, etc.), the exhibition traces the genesis and successive developments of this immediately recognizable graphic universe, made up of sinuous and hatched lines in shades of red, blue, white and black.

Clos de la Fontaine Dinard, Dinard Opening 2026
Dinard Opening 10 to 14th of July
"The most British of French cities" presents, from August 10th to 14th, A BRITISH MUSIC FESTIVAL
Founded in the 1850s, Dinard owes much to British influence. Many wealthy tourists and members of the literary and artistic elite arrived from the British Isles to enjoy the local climate. Numerous existing villas and the English church of Saint-Barthélemy bear witness to this influence.
This strong link between Dinard and the United Kingdom remains vibrant and visible. For over 30 years, the Dinard British Film Festival has fostered these connections, as has the town's twinning with Newquay in Cornwall. The Dinard Opening Festival further strengthens this link through music.
Mixing many musical genres (baroque, classical, folk, rock) that the British master best, the Dinard Opening festival attracts a wide audience. Each evening, it will take place in the city, in theatres, on outdoor stages and in unusual places – churches, hotel lobbies, gardens… English music, but also Welsh, Scottish and Irish music will be featured.

Clos de la Fontaine Dinard, le marché à 400M
Dinard market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings
What a pretty market and you can go there on foot from Clos de la Fontaine (around 400m)!
It is good to linger there and take the time to hunt for some good products. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful markets in the region.
Around the market halls , which are open every morning of the week, many merchants come to sell clothes, groceries, crafts, fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and seafood.
The little culinary extras: a coffee or a small white wine at the Café des Anges, a sausage galette to take away (the best in my opinion is the one from Pleudihen), rillettes from Lepage sous les halles, or mussels a la plancha at the Morisseau workshop.
Practical information:
Les Halles de la Concorde : 18 traders every morning from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (except school holidays, not all traders are present on Monday morning)
Large market around the Halles de La Concorde:
From September 1 to December 31:
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
From July 1 to August 31:
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Nearly 300 traders gather on the Halle esplanade during the season.
